Free Quality Time Cards

Over the years these cards have become highly anticipated by our kids. Each Valentine’s day we give them Date Cards and Stay Up Late Cards. I have provided a variety for you, black and white, color, hopefully ones that span ages and interests, but feel free to make your own as well.

You pick if you want to do 12, so they could have one a month, or more or less. This also teaches you kids to budget and not just use all their cards at once. Set your boundaries, just make them clear from the beginning. How much later do they get to stay up? What is the budget, proximity or advanced notice required for a date?

The real point with these cards is to make sure we are spending quality time with each child, that we are meeting their love language. If you haven’t read The 5 Love Languages of Children I recommend checking it out. I found it to be really interesting how love languages can be tied to learning. Just skip straight to that chapter if you want.
